We are almost there: very soon the various summer videogame events will kick off which, from the beginning of June until the end of August, will keep us company with announcements, trailers, and surprises, first of all the XBOX Games Showcase and the consecutive Gears of War: E-Day Direct.

From the next few days and until the end of August we will therefore be able to enjoy a series of very interesting events for video game enthusiasts and, above all, for XBOX fans. So here is the calendar of all the appointments with Italian times, which as always you can follow largely with us on our Twitch channel (more details before each event).

• Sony State of Play - June 2 11:00 PM
  WHAT: Although it is an event focused on the PlayStation world, it is always an appointment to keep an eye on for XBOX fans as well, for third-party titles that will also arrive on XBOX. It usually offers a look at upcoming titles and updates on previously announced games.

• Summer Game Fest Showcase 2026 - June 5 11:00 PM
  WHAT: Geoff Keighley's main show that officially opens the dances of the videogame summer. Expect world trailers, never-before-seen gameplay, and the participation of over 50 industry partners, including big names like Xbox, Ubisoft, and EA.

• Wholesome Direct - June 6 6:00 PM
  WHAT: An event dedicated to "gentle games", focused on relaxing, artistic and narrative experiences. Dozens of indie titles characterized by sunny atmospheres and non-violent gameplay will be shown.

• Story Rich Showcase - June 6 7:00 PM
  WHAT: A new showcase focused entirely on titles that put storytelling first. If you love graphic adventures, deep RPGs and immersive stories, this is the event to follow.

• Day of the Devs - June 7 1:00 AM
  WHAT: The show dedicated to independent titles curated by Double Fine and iam8bit. An unmissable event for those looking for original and artistically refined productions, often with many surprises coming in the Game Pass.

• XBOX Games Showcase & Gears of War: E-Day Direct - 7 June 19:00
  WHAT: The event of the year for every XBOX fan. Microsoft will show the future of its studios (Bethesda, Activision Blizzard, XBOX Game Studios) and, to follow, there will be a special dedicated entirely to Gears of War: E-Day to find out everything about the new chapter of the saga.

• PC Gaming Show - June 7 9:00 PM
  WHAT: The historic PC Gamer show dedicated to the "Master Race", but which also features titles coming to the XBOX and Game Pass ecosystem. Expect dozens of trailers and new announcements for 2026 and beyond.

• gamescom Opening Night Live - 25 August 20:00
  WHAT: The opening lecture of the Cologne fair, hosted by Geoff Keighley. It will be the perfect time to see the titles coming out at the end of the year and receive the last big announcements before the fall season.
