During the new XBOX Podcast just released, XBOX Chief Content Officer Matt Booty revealed that Playground Games' highly anticipated RPG, Fable, has been postponed to February 2027, to allow it to have "the dedicated moment it deserves".

The reference of the "dedicated moment" is obviously related to the launch of GTA 6, scheduled for November and which risks capturing all the media attention for at least a couple of months, taking away the attention of the media and the public from other games coming out in the same period. It therefore seems that Microsoft has decided to release Fable three months later, hoping that then fans will be ready to look at new gaming experiences, after the GTA binge.

If you want to see and learn more about the game, however, you won't have to wait long: Booty has in fact revealed that at the XBOX Games Showcase on June 7 we will be able to take a new in-depth look at the game. So let's wait for the event to learn more about this ambitious RPG!
