The 007 First Light launch trailer prepares us to take on the role of the young James Bond
The plot of the game will lead us to discover how the young James Bond, played by Patrick Gibson, takes his first steps in the world of espionage after attracting the attention of MI6 by overcoming an extremely risky situation in Iceland. To support the protagonist we will find M (Priyanga Burford), ready to bet on his cold blood and his intuition on the field. However, this trust will be put to the test by John Greenway (Lennie James), a former 00 agent and inflexible instructor of the program, whose rigid philosophy will inevitably clash with Bond's instinctive and improvised style. The real test for the entire program will come with the dangerous return of a revived agent 009, a threat that will force us to travel all over the world, from the silent Carpathians to the black markets of Aleph, and then enter the lair of the unpredictable Bawma, played by Lenny Kravitz.
The beating heart of 007 First Light lies in the dynamic gameplay called "Creative Approach", specifically designed to leave us maximum freedom of action in facing objectives, both moving in the shadows with a stealth approach, and unleashing direct action. We will be able to count on four main systems: the "Spycraft", which rewards observation by allowing us to eavesdrop on key conversations, pickpocket targets and find clues to open new paths; the "Bond's Instinct", useful for distracting enemies, avoiding suspicion and increasing concentration in combat; Q Branch gadgets, which expand tactical options for hacking devices, picking locks, and eliminating targets silently. In the event that discretion fails, we will be able to count on rapid and fluid firefights that blend melee and firearms, with an escalation that reflects the measured use of force until the activation of the actual License to Kill.
Longevity will not end with the credits, thanks to the presence of the "Tactical Simulation" mode (TacSim), set in a secret MI6 facility and focused on replayability. This mode will initially open with only two missions and then become fully accessible once the main campaign is completed, allowing us to revisit the various levels of the game. By facing these score challenges characterized by special modifiers we will be able to unlock unique progression elements and experiment with new tactical solutions, encouraging total mastery of each scenario.
With only six days separating us from the official debut of 007 First Light, the wait is almost over to discover this new origin story and earn the legendary double zero on the field; We leave you to the launch trailer!
