Milestone has announced that the free demo of the new arcade racer Screamer is available from today, accompanied by a limited-time promotional offer that will allow us to purchase the title with a 30% discount.

The demo immerses us in the first six chapters of the illegal street racing tournament created by the enigmatic Mr. A, putting us at the helm of the Green Reapers, former mercenaries looking for redemption, on the Downtown Run track. Continuing the experience we will unlock Lavinia of the Jupiter Stormers and two new circuits, The Port and Stadium Olympus, all set in Neo Rey, a futuristic metropolis that represents one of the four scenarios of the full title.

Screamer combines arcade driving mechanics with combat sequences, all inserted in a dystopian narrative with an anime aesthetic, created with the contribution of Polygon Pictures and the voice of Troy Baker. The demo includes two of the six modes provided, which can also be used in split-screen: the Race mode, which will offer us total control and in-depth customization, and the Team Races, where we will have to coordinate with other characters to get the best result by combining final position and KO.

The Ranked Team Races will arrive from June 18, introducing a competitive component to the online experience. In the meantime, those who want to learn more can take advantage of the 30% discount active from today.
