Bandai Namco has released a new video focused on the game systems of Echoes of Aincrad, the action-RPG set in the famous universe of Sword Art Online that will catapult us into an adventure where every decision can mark the boundary between survival and the end.

In Echoes of Aincrad we will have to give life to an original character thanks to extensive customization of the avatar, without taking on the role of the canonical protagonists of the series. Once immersed in the VRMMORPG, the rule is clear: death in the game equals death in reality. For this, we will have to master every available resource to withstand the threats of the floating castle of Aincrad.

The trailer details real-time combat, with a flexible system that will allow us to upgrade equipment, weapons and attributes, selecting special abilities to shape our playstyle as we level up. The variety of weapons and the character's unique abilities will be decisive in overcoming the most difficult challenges.

However, the adventure will not be a solitary path: the partner system will support us with distinct allies, each with exclusive abilities that can turn the tide of the clash. We will explore fascinating cities, evocative landscapes and treacherous dungeons full of secrets, facing monsters and bosses that will test our preparedness and resilience until the last moment.
