Wargaming has announced that from May 26 we will be able to immerse ourselves in World of Tanks: HEAT, the new free-to-play tactical shooter with tank combat that, unlike the original WoT, will offer us a faster and more dynamic arcade experience, where teamwork will be essential to prevail.

The announcement is accompanied by an official trailer directed by Ilya Naishuller, director known for Hardcore Henry and Nobody, with the soundtrack of Biting Elbows, which anticipates the intense atmosphere that we will experience in the game.

Developed from the ground up with a proprietary engine created in-house by Wargaming, World of Tanks: HEAT will deliver modern graphics and immersive environments, optimized to deliver smooth performance across different devices. We will have to choose between eight Agents, divided into three distinct roles, Defender, Assault and Marksman, each leading a formation of two lethal vehicles, designed to adapt to their fighting style.

At our disposal we will have fifteen vehicles fully customizable through modules and equipment, ready to support any tactical approach, from the front line to ambushes from a distance. The eight proposed maps will embrace different biomes and graphic styles, all designed to enhance the different PvP modes available at launch: Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed and Conquest.

Progression will be shared between platforms thanks to cross-platform support, allowing us to continue our gaming experience wherever we prefer. In view of the release, we will already be able to join the official community and prepare as best we can for the appointment with the launch, which promises to revolutionize the genre of tactical shooters with tanks.
