Owlcat Games today announced the start of the Closed Beta of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, the new third-person action-RPG based on the famous sci-fi television universe.

This testing phase actually looks more like Early Access, as the servers will remain open without interruption until the game's official launch. To be able to participate in this trial, it is necessary to purchase the Collector's Edition or the Miller's Pack of the game on the game's website, and then redeem the code on our console.

This version of the young man will allow us to choose our character between a Cinturian woman or a man from Earth, and then specialize with the skills of an officer or a hacker. Accompanied by our brother J and supported by the veteran mechanic Zafar, we will explore a remote space station of our company following the escape from Eros. In the initial stages we will be able to interact with the various inhabitants, experience the dialogue system and discover the daily dynamics of a base full of mercenaries. The action will become much more intense when those responsible for the attack on Eros reach us, a moment that will allow us to thoroughly test both the combat mechanics and the enhancement systems. Owlcat Games has already confirmed that in the final game we will also be able to select Mars as the initial background and we will have access to a much deeper customization system.

Since this is a build in active development, the team has specified that performance may vary and does not reflect the final quality of the product, recommending the use of Xbox Series X to enjoy the optimal experience on consoles. All the feedback collected from players in recent months will be essential to refine the balance in view of the final launch of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, which is currently set for spring 2027.
