Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: the first details leaked before the reveal

What was perhaps the video game industry's worst-kept secret, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced, is finally about to be revealed on Thursday. However, this has not stopped the leaks, which have continued to follow one another in recent days allowing us to discover a series of details about the game in advance.

Starting from the launch window, it seems that we will not have to wait long: the return of Edward Kenway would in fact be scheduled for this summer. Rumors also anticipate that the release of the game will also be accompanied by a Collector's Edition.

From the point of view of content, however, there will be some sacrifices. In fact, rumors confirm that the remake will be devoid of some elements of the original experience, specifically excluding the multiplayer mode and the DLCs released at the time, to focus only on the base game.

On the gameplay front, the novelties aim to rejuvenate the experience while keeping its spirit intact. Unlike the strong RPG drift experienced in the most recent chapters of the franchise, in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced we will be able to enjoy a more action-oriented combat system, faithful to that of the original title. The Animus will obviously also return, but it has undergone considerable changes and alterations to modernize the entire experience.

Finally, get ready because we will have to try our hand at the infamous tailing missions once again. Fortunately, it has been anticipated that Ubisoft has heavily revised and reworked these phases, with the aim of improving and rejuvenating what was considered by many to be one of the weakest aspects of the original formula.

We just have to wait for Thursday to find out all the details!
