EXODUS: Archetype's Mass Effect shows us stealth gameplay
The footage shows us the protagonist (we remind you that we can choose his gender and appearance) Jun Aslan, flanked by companions Tom Vargas and Suliman, engaged in infiltrating a heavily guarded hostile area. Unlike the previous cutscenes, more focused on exploration and shooting, here we are shown the stealth action of the game, which will see us pay attention to every single step so as not to alert the enemy forces.
To overcome these sections we will have several options at our disposal: we will be able to take advantage of the precognition ability to identify and mark targets before advancing, defuse traps such as lethal laser mines and perform melee eliminations. The Recycler weapon also appears in the video set in Ghost configuration, designed specifically for stealthy takedowns in a single shot. These are very promising stealth dynamics, which introduce a type of gameplay that has been missing since Mass Effect.
To discover further elements of the game we will have to wait until this summer, when the team will release a much more extensive and full-bodied gameplay in-depth analysis. Reminding you that the launch of EXODUS is scheduled for early 2027, we leave you with the new video; enjoy!
