Invincible VS: Skybound announces an Open Beta for the next three days

Skybound Entertainment and its in-house studio Quarter Up today announced the Open Beta of Invincible VS, the brutal 3v3 team-based fighting game inspired by the famous comic book series (and animated on Prime Video) by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. The beta will be available as early as today, April 9, ahead of the full launch scheduled for April 30.

The Open Beta will be accessible on our consoles from 19:00 today, April 9, until until 6:00 on April 12 (Italian time).

During this weekend of testing, we will have to face fast-paced combat choosing from 10 of the 18 characters available at launch: Mark Grayson (Invincible), Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Robot, Monster Girl and Allen the Alien. At our disposal there will also be six arenas and three game modes to approach the title in the best way.

For those approaching the genre for the first time, the Tutorial mode will guide our first steps, teaching movements, commands, Active Tagging and Assist Breakers. The Training Mode will instead allow us to refine the techniques and experiment with different fighters, while the Ranking Mode will test our skills against other challengers to earn League Points and climb the leaderboard. The top 20 entrants will see their name immortalized in the Invincible VS credits as "Beta Beasts."

The title promises devastating combos, iconic characters and fast-paced gameplay that faithfully respects the spirit of the source material. Those who participate in the Open Beta will receive an exclusive skin for Omni-Man at launch, which replaces his famous mustache with a full beard, inspired by the appearance shown in Episode 6 of Season 4 of the animated series on Prime Video.

The physical edition of Invincible VS is already available for pre-order on Amazon, with also an alternative cover art that will enrich our collection.

We just have to wait for 7 pm tonight to test our skills in the arena: in the meantime here is the trailer showing the contents of this Open Beta.
