The Elder Scrolls Online: Season Zero, Dawn and Dusk kicks off

Bethesda has announced that Season Zero of The Elder Scrolls Online, titled Dawn and Dusk, is officially available from today. This is a new approach to post-launch content for the famous MMORPG, characterized by free thematic seasons for all owners of the game, destined to last an average of ninety days and full of news.

One of the most interesting innovations of this new era is undoubtedly the Tamriel Tome system. It is a seasonal progression mechanic that combines and improves the old systems of Endeavors and daily accesses, offering us greater freedom in the choice of rewards. Progressing in the Tome, we will in fact be able to unlock collectibles, consumables and in-game currency. The system provides a completely free basic path, flanked by two paid Premium variants for those who want to get extra content.

And there is also no shortage of news on the gameplay front: starting from June 8 we will be able to try our hand at the Challenge difficulty, an optional option dedicated to open world clashes that will allow us to select four increasing levels of challenge, with rewards proportionate to the risks faced. For lovers of competitive combat there are also important news, including the new Veterancy PvP progression system and the continuation of tests for Cyrodiil's Vengeance campaign. In addition to this, today's update brings with it the first update dedicated to the Dragonknight class and over twenty improvements to the general experience: we will notice faster mount training, increased capacity limits for house furniture, upgrades for inventory bags and a convenient system to reassign skill points directly from the user interface.

Finally, those who love darker atmospheres should mark the date of April 29 on their calendars. In fact, on this date the limited-time Night Market event will kick off, which will keep us company for seven weeks, until June 17. We will have the opportunity to explore a new area located in Fargrave, in the kingdom of Oblivion, where we will be called upon to side with one of the three available factions. By participating in a challenging PvE tournament, we will finally have the opportunity to unlock an exclusive home for our alter ego, the Night's Den, for free.

We leave you with the trailer showing all the news: enjoy!
