Red Dead Redemption updates for Xbox Series X|S: 4K, 60 FPS and free upgrade
On current consoles we will finally be able to enjoy John Marston's adventure with a smooth experience at 60 frames per second. The developers, who worked on the port in collaboration with Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games, have implemented improved image quality, HDR support and resolutions that will go up to 4K.
This version will include the full single-player experiences of both games. We will then relive the acclaimed story of John Marston, set immediately after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, as he tries to bury his bloody past. In addition, we will have access to the beloved expansion "Undead Nightmare", where we will have to fight to find a cure for the zombie plague that has invaded the frontier. Bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition will also be included.
The release date is set for December 2nd, and there is also great news for those who already own the game: Rockstar has confirmed that users in possession of the digital version for Xbox One will be able to upgrade to this version for free.
We leave you to the announcement trailer, enjoy!
