Alone in the Dark Slips Again, Arrives in March

It's only been three months since THQ Nordic postponed the launch of Alone in the Dark to January, which today announces a further two-month postponement: the game will now arrive on March 20. And if previously the motivation had been to move the game from a period with so much competition (Alan Wake 2 in the first place) like that of November, this time the reason is the well-being of the developers.

In fact, the ediror explains:

The year is coming to an end and the Christmas holidays are just around the corner. However, this didn't seem like the prospect of Pieces Interactive, the team that is developing our next survival-horror game, Alone in the Dark. With the release date scheduled for January 2024, the Christmas season would have been full of stress and anything but cheerful for them.

Therefore, THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have decided to give Alone in the Dark a new release date: March 20, 2024. The well-being of teams is a top priority, and both companies want to avoid any potential crises during the holiday season. In addition, THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive want to make sure that the game not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of the community, especially thanks to the outstanding performances of Hollywood stars David and Jodie as the main protagonists.

We understand that many are eagerly awaiting the game's release, but your patience will be rewarded. We're excited to scare the hell out of you on March 20, 2024!
