Bandai Namco today revealed the latest character from the initial roster of Tekken 8, the highly anticipated fighting game coming on January 26. Reina is also nicknamed the Purple Lightning, and is characterized by lightning-fast moves with which to tower over her opponents; her past is shrouded in mystery, it is only known that she is a student at Mishima Polytechnical School and also seems to have a very special interest in Jin.

The Tekken 8 launch roster will include 32 characters with a storyline based on the fight between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. Players will be able to enjoy some of the most beloved characters, such as Paul Phoenix and Yoshimitsu, with returning characters such as Jun Kazama and Raven, and three new additions: Azucena, Victor Chevalier, and Reina. The models of all the characters in the game have been completely recreated from scratch in order to make the most of the current generation hardware and to ensure the best possible gaming experience.
