CD Projekt RED has finally announced when Cyberpunk 2077 will receive Update 2.0, the free update that will introduce many new features: September 21st. The update will introduce redesigned skill trees, revamped cyberware, improvements to AI in combat, and finally, in-vehicle combat.

It will then be possible to shoot pistols or SMG from the back of the motorcycle, through the windshield of the car or from the side window, or even use the katana when you are on board the motorcycle, for example to cut the wheels of other cars. On some cars it will also be possible to mount machine guns that can be used in combat.

If you can't wait to return to Liberty City, then, you just have to wait for September 21st or the 26th, when the Phantom Liberty expansion will arrive.
