Rumor: the new project of Tango Gameworks is HI-FI RUSH

Following the rumor that an Xbox event would be imminent in which the new experimental project of Tango Gameworks could be announced, today comes from the podcast The Xbox Two by Rand Al Thor and Jez Corden the indication that the game in question will be called HI-FI RUSH and that it should come out during 2023.

This is not really a completely new name, because Bethesda/Zenimax (of which Tango is part) registered the title over a year ago, then registered the logo (above) three months ago.

Someone also talked about it in the past on Reddit, in a post now removed, revealing that it would be a "rhythmic fighting game" set in Japan and looking similar to Jet Set Radio. We also remind you that, according to the previous rumor about the Xbox show, this will not be a AAA title but more an experimental "pet project" as Pentiment was for Obsidian or even the less successful Bleeding Edge by Ninja Theory.

We do not know how much truth there is in this: let's hope that the rumored Xbox event arrives soon and clarifies the matter!
