Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games today announced that they have reached an agreement to develop and publish Control 2, the sequel to the highly acclaimed title released in 2019. Known so far by the codename Heron, the game will only be released on next-generation hardware.

505 Games has invested more than 50 million euros in the title, a very high budget (already the first game was the largest investment ever made by the publisher); we are not yet at budget levels a great AAA, but it will undoubtedly ensure a production of great quality.

In order to see something, however, we will have to wait a long time, since production is for now in the initial conceptual phase , so it will take a while before production starts and even more before something publicly visible has been produced.
