The Japanese studio Soleil, formed by veterans of Team Ninja who have also worked on Ninja Gaiden, has released a new trailer for Wanted: Dead, an action game coming later this year that is inspired by the "Taranto" action and specifically, judging by the trailer, that of Kill Bill.

Wanted: Dead is inspired by the deep combat systems of titles such as Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden. Set in a dark and dangerous cyberpunk Hong Kong, he puts us in the shoes of Lieutenant Hannah Stone, leader of an elite team known as the "Zombie Squad", who works outside the remit of traditional police forces.

Stone's elite combat skills combine style and substance to deliver slow-motion sequences, John Wick-style finishers, a limb amputation mechanic that changes enemy attack patterns, and even lightweight tactical elements with the ability to give orders to teammates.
