Mass Effect: Legendary Edition arrives in May and reveals itself in a trailer

EA and BioWare have finally unveiled today the date on which we can replay the original Mass Effecttrilogy, in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition: May 14th. The game will include over 100 hours of single-player content including basic games from the first three titles and over 40 DLCs,weapon packs, and armor, all with revamped 4K and HDR graphics.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will offer an improved viewing experience with remastered characters and tens of thousands of embossed textures. Improved shaders and visual effects, updatedlighting, and dynamic shadows; improved volume and depth of field add a new level of immersion. Pre-rendered footage has also been updated to make every moment of the story even more impactful.

Mass Effect's original video game features complete renovations for building the world, with new details and adding depth to places like Eden Prime, Ilos, and Feros, which players will explore on their journey across the galaxy. Mass Effect includes an updated UI and interfaces, as well as a variety of quality of life improvements. In addition, combat and exploration have been modernized thanks to improved aiming, and team control, Mako maneuverability, and chambers.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will feature unified character creation options in all three titles and is complete with an improved and expanded selection of hair, makeup, and skin tone options. The default appearance of female Shepard in Mass Effect 3 is now available in character creation in all three titles.
