Square Enix today released the opening footage of Balan Wonderworld,the new platformer coming on March 26 and made by the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog. In the film, the two protagonists Leo Craig and Emma Cole enter a theater and get to know the mysterious Balan,who drags them into the magical universe of Wonderworld.

In Balan Wonderworld players will explore the fantastic world of Wonderworld led by the enigmatic Balan; while exploring Wonderworld they will have to jump, climb, fly, destroy and do much more, discovering many different areas and collecting over 80 unique costumes that will help them in the adventure. Each costume provides special power, such as the Rail Runner which allows you to summon tracks in some areas to quickly cover long distances and overcome obstacles.
