As anticipated by several rumors and teasers, Warner Bros. today announced Gotham Knights,the new title developed by WB Games in the univserso Batman Arkham, which starts from an important premise: Batman is dead,Gotham is under siege from criminals and super-criminals of all kinds (orchestrated by the evil Court of Owls), and Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood are the only"Knights of Gotham"able to defend the city.

In the game we can impersonate one of the four heroes and complete the title alone or in a two-player cooperative.

The revelation came in the form of a CGI trailer that introduces us to the news of Batman's death and the game's various protagonists, and a 7-minute gameplay demonstration from a pre-alpha version of the game that shows us the mechanics of the title while Batgirl and Robin (in co-op) face an attack by Mr. Freeze.
