Confirming some previous rumours, Activision confirmed today that the next title of the CoD series, in development at the Treyarch studio with the support of Raven Software,will be called Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

The announcement is accompanied by a 1984 historical footage in which former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov warned U.S. intelligence of an undercover Russian spy, codenamed "Perseus", intent on subverting the United States from within. At the end of the movie we discover that the game will be revealed on August 26.
