The Polish studio Glob Games Studio has announced the development for Xbox Series X action-adventure title with survival elements: MicroMan. The title will see players impersonate a lab technician who, following an unfortunate accident, shrinks to the size of a small insect.

As you can easily guess, theultimate goal of the game will be to allow our alter ego to return to its original size, but the road will not be at all free of obstacles; we will in fact be called upon to face, among other things, several clashes against powerful enemies such as ants, frogs and hedgehogs.

We can then use some insects as means of transport, for example by clinging to a butterfly we can more easily reach a new point on the map or overcome a certain obstacle. Players will also have to make choices as they continue throughout the story, and the decisions that will be made at these junctures will affect the course of events.

Although the theme covered in the new title of the Polish team is not new, just think of Jonathan Swift's work "Gulliver's Travels" or the more recent Marvel Comics comic "Ant-Man" (and it is precisely these works that MicroMan draws inspiration), however, as Karol Marcinkowski, Vice President of Glob Games Studio, reports, the title will not fail to introduce unique and original gameplay elements for the genre.
