A little more than a week after the launch, Bandai Namco has released a new in-depth trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot that shows us the most typically RPG mechanics of the title, namely those of character growth: the footage shows us how we can make Goku more and more powerful and how to satiate his thirst for challenges.

Specifically, we are shown these character progression mechanics:

• Cooking and eating – Eat while exploring or cooking more elaborate dishes to grow statistics;
• Learn Special Attacks – Collect and spend Zeta Balls and D Medals to unlock the most devastating abilities;
• Take advantage of the Community Board – Reunite and organize Soul Emblems to take the strength of Z Fighters to new heights.
