In a financial report tonight, EA announced that DICE is working on the new Battlefieldseries title, but it won't arrive untilfiscal year 2020, which starts in April 2021 and ends in March 2022. The publisher explained that he wants to give the Swedish studio more time to create his next shooter, allowing him to go out to next-gen well-started so that he can make the most of the next consoles.

EA also explained that, by 2020, all of the publisher's efforts in the FPS field will focus on Respawn Entertainment Apex Legends'Battle Royale F2P, which will see further improvements and content releases over the next year. The American company revealed that the game has reached 70 million players,thus enjoying excellent health.
