Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced that Mortal Kombat 11, a new episode of the brutal beat-up series released last April, will be downloadable and playable for free over the weekend starting Friday, October 11 and up to Monday, October 14.

The trial will give you free access to the following content:

• Tutte game modes
• Cinematic content selected from Story Mode
• Full base roster
• A preview of the recent Kombat Pack fighters inside the Time Towers,including the T-800 Terminator from the upcoming movie "Terminator: Dark Destiny,"in addition to Nightwolf, and Shang I'm not like I'm

The free game weekend will also allow you to keep any progress you've made in case you decide to buy the full title, which on free days receives a 40% discount on the full price.
