The hype magic, but also, no doubt, of the Xbox Game Pass: Gears 5 has just managed to oust Fortnite from the most-played title throne on Xbox Live. The dominance of the Epic Games game-revelation had lasted for over a year, more or less since summer 2018, and so far no game, not even Red Dead Redemption 2,had managed to beat it.

Gears 5 is now the most played title on Live in numerous markets, including Italy,followed by Fortnite, FIFA 19, GTA V and Rainbow Six: Siege. The version of the game at the top of the leaderboard is also the Ultimate Edition,proving that, probably, such a success is due to the many players subscribed to the Ultimate Game Pass.

So let's congratulate Microsoft and The Coalition on the result, hoping that the title will be at the top of the leaderboard for a long time!
