Hi-Rez Studios, the studio known for titles such as Smite, Paladins and Realm Royale,changes genre and focuses on tactical shooters, however paid instead of free-to-play like other titles. The studio has in fact announced that it will act as publisher for Rogue Company,TPS multiplayer coming in 2020 and developed by the hitherto unknown First Watch Games.

For now very little is known about the game except that it will take advantage of cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms,allowing us to play with anyone and switch between platforms while maintaining our progress. This is the official description issued by the study:

"Rogue Company is a team multiplayer shooter packed with action, strategy and character. With an arsenal of playable mercenaries, weapons, skills and game modes, there's always something new to learn to master.

But for those who stand the threads of the game, Rogue Company agents are indispensable to solve the most difficult and deadly missions in the world. As the mercenaries of the Rogue Company, players will team up, harness their weapon, and dive into a variety of scenarios to compete online in many different online PVP modes.

Rogue Company will allow crossplay on all major platforms. Team up with friends on all possible platforms and climb the ranks of Rogue Company!"
