Hello Games today released the launch trailer for No Man'sSky, which gives us a first look at the new multiplayer mode that will be introduced from 14 August with the Beyond update and the central component of This mode: theNexus, a social space in which to meet other players and from which to start new missions in company.

In the Nexus, the spaceship you've been sweating on with tens of hours of gameplay will also be visible to others. You can show off a rare spacesuit or a unique helmet in front of other players. Friends and strangers will be able to visit the huge base you have been perfecting for some time. You can then share your progress in the game with other explorers: the ability to share creations and missions will make the title much more compelling.
