CD Projekt RED today announced the very first expansion of Gwent: The Witcher card game, the free-to-play card game set in the world of The Witcher. Titled Crimson Curse, the expansion will introduce more than 100 new vampiric themed cards: the superior vampire Dettlaff van der Eretein, already encountered in the Blood and Wine expansion of the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is in fact evoking the His fellows in the world of Gwent by awakening new species of monsters but also recalling new heroes with a multitude of new instruments of war.

Arriving on March 28, the Crimson Curse introduces over 100 new cards distributed between the factions of Gwent: the Witcher Card Game. Players can attack the opponent with poison and bleeding, use shield and vitality to defend themselves from damage and at the same time flip the battle trend using the gameplay mechanics shot of grace and berserk. As always, each added card comes in two forms: standard and premium (animated).
