Ghost Recon Wildlands: Special Operation 4 adds a horde mode and more

Ubisoft has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27, will come a new major update for content post-launch of Ghost Recon Wildlands ; the update Special Operation 4 and introduces the PvE Guerrilla , a real "Horde" mode playable alone or with our friends who we will face increasingly difficult waves of enemies.

Guerrilla mode expands the game's PvE experience with a unique challenge, able to test the strength, skills and tactics of the players. Alone or with a team of up to four Ghost, players must defend some key positions from waves of increasingly lethal member of the cartel and the Unidad. For each wave completed, will have the opportunity to buy and upgrade weapons, abilities and accessories, thanks to resources obtained from enemies destroyed. Each choice will be decisive and the strategy will be essential to overcome this challenge really challenging.

In addition to the Guerrilla mode, the Special Operation 4 introduces a range of new content focused on PvP Ghost War, including:

  • A new PvP class: the Sapper is a new option for the class Support able to employ a drone that can launch mines "concussion". These mines affect its strength of the players, eliminating them or slowing down the ride.
  • Two new PvP maps.
  • Two new PvP events:
    • Arms Race: players enter into action armed only with a pistol and are forced to explore the map looking for better weapons.
    • Danger Zone: the players are regularly bombarded with ultrasonic explosions, which force them to move constantly.

In line with the previous updates of the second year, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands will also get many features and enhancements requested by the community, including time settings for single-player campaign mode, a new notification of bleeding in Ghost War, an option for adding the compass in the HUD in PvE, as well as the introduction of daily challenge of the campaign with greater rewards. Finally, the special operation 4 will add the new Visual heat map, thanks to which players will see the most visited places in Wildlands and discover some who may have never seen before.

The Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Pass offers seven days of early access to the new class of Ghost War, in addition to Active Duty Pack starting tomorrow. All other players will be able to access the new PvP class from 6 March.

We leave you now with a dedicated trailer to the new update: enjoy!
