During the Gamescom 2018, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have announced a new horror series, The Dark Pictures , arriving in 2019. The Dark Pictures Anthology horror film series is a standalone, meant to bring a new, terrifying experience on a regular basis. Each game is disjointed and will include a history and a setting of the original and the new cast of characters.

In Man of Medan, five young Americans are at sea during a holiday dedicated to diving in search of a relic of World War II. Over the course of the day and the arrival of a storm, their trip soon turns into something much more sinister. Which of them will survive? And who will die?

Players can play each of the five main characters, each with a different perspective, to explore and discover the mysteries of their terrifying situation – and make decisions that will change their lives forever. Each game is meant to be replayable, with several sub plots, paths and numerous finals, designed to encourage players to play again and again. Decisions are vital to the survival of all players ... with the opportunity to live or die round every corner.
