The British video game industry site GamesIndustry today released the sales figures of the launch of the Xbox One X , revealing that the console has sold in the United Kingdom more than 80,000 units , roughly the same number reached by Nintendo Switch for launch on the same market, and much more than it did from Sony with PS4 Pro, which throughout the month of launch sold 50,000 units in the UK (here we speak only of one week for Xbox One X, so potentially the difference could grow further in the coming weeks).

The new Microsoft console shows then going strong, more than many predicted given the high price: a sign that there is currently no market for premium performance console albeit more expensive.

In view of these results obtained in the UK, we expect that will be replicated in the broader u.s. market and worldwide, confirming the success of the console. We will keep you updated.
