Bandai Namco announced that were distributed worldwide over three million copies of the role play Dark Souls III , while altogether the series has sold over 13 million copies (including the re-release of the second chapter). American units of Dark Souls III are divided as follows: 500,000 in Japan and Asia, 1.5 million in North America and one million in Europe.

Please note that Dark Souls III will receive the first major expansion in the coming autumn and the second will arrive by early 2017.
