Hitman: new details about live activity of the game

As we know, Hitman will come in episodic format starting from March 11 and in addition to the main missions contained in each episode, IO Interactive will populate every week the various locations with live events and activities that will keep alive the interest of the players. The developers have now explained, on the Steam forums , what these activities will consist of.

In particular we will find four types of activities:

  • Elusive Targets: Although most contracts can be over more than once to allow the player to address the mission with a new approach, there are contracts, defined precisely elusive, which admit only one attempt to kill our goal: if they fail our target will disappear forever from the world of game and you will not be able to hunt him down. Also before the mission begins you will be shown a short video that will explain the background and the details about the destination in addition to why there there is located at that location, all useful information that will allow us to better plan the killing of our target.
  • How escalation: It is a mode to multiple stages presenting ever-increasing difficulty levels each time you exceed a phase. To overcome the steps necessary to carry out the killing of our target by meeting certain requirements more difficult. For example, in the first phase of a mission we will kill our target with a saber, in the second one we've got to kill him by the sword but only after being disguised as waiters and having knocked out surveillance cameras, all within a time limit.
  • Contract Mode: It is a mode that allows you to create and customize their own contracts, changing rules and requirements of the assassination and allows us to share competing against our friends. The best contracts finally will be chosen by IO Interactive and included in the list dedicated to "contracts on top".
  • Challenges Live: Are the challenges inspired community that will test the knowledge of certain locations. They will be more elaborate tributes to the challenges, fun, challenging and creative completed by players. For example, one of the first challenges that the development team is working on is called "Hammer Time" (the time of hammer) and is inspired to one stream made to Twitch from the channel 2AngryGamers, using the beta of the game.
