Activision has just announced that from today until the February 8 16:00 will take place on Guitar Hero Live Marathon "Shred-a-Thon", free event dedicated to the world's fastest songs and hectic rock-metal, which will see the debut in the game of Dragonforce Through the Fire and Flames .

During this period you will find in GHTV a third channel in addition to the two already in place, which will be played in rotation only-fast songs.

These are some of the pieces that will be part of the lineup:

• DragonForce-Through the Fire and Flames
• Alter Bridge – Cry of Achilles
• Megadeth-Hangar 18
• Lamb of God – Ghost Walking
• Trivium – Strife

Once the marathon, Through the Fire and Flames will be added to the regular catalog of songs from the game.

Every song of the Marathon "Shred-a-Thon" is playable also Challenges Rivals mode, which means that players have a chance to compete against other players through matchmaking in head-to-head battles during every song.
