We talked earlier this year when the Director of the cult movie Friday 13, Sean s. Cunningham, announced the project, and after a long silence finally we learn first details on Friday the 13th . The game previously under development, with the title of Slasher vol. 1: Summer Camp , is a multiplayer action game 1 against asymmetric 7 where a player will play the insane murderer Jason Vorhees while others will wear the clothes of his victims.

The title will take place at Camp Crystal Lake, and aims to resurrect the style and the cliches of the slasher movie of 80 years, of which 13, is one of the most important founders. The gameplay will see Jason as a powerful and relentless force, against which other players can collaborate and also win if they challenged: the game will provide players with all the tools to succeed in the enterprise.

Game development is funded on Kickstarter with the support of the Director of the first film, and while it is now only the multiplayer segment, if fundraising campaign exceeds expectations you may also introduced a single-player story. Everything turns on Unreal Engine 4.
