Konami thinks better on 1080 p resolution PES will be slightly less

Exactly a month ago, Adam Bhatti of Konami stated that PES 2016 would go on Xbox One at a native 1080 p resolution, a considerable increase compared to 720 p from the previous edition of the game. Today the same Product Manager back in his tracks by explaining that, for performance reasons, the game will go to a 1360x1080 resolution, slightly below the x-axis to full 1080 p, but still higher than 900 p.

This is a resolution used by other developers, who see only pixel scale on the x-axis, while those on Y are unaffected, making the overall picture sharper than a normal upscaling from 900 p. Bhatti explains that probably no one will notice the difference compared to full 1080 p, and invites fans to try the demo of the game to judge for yourself.

PES 2016 is expected in stores for September 17.
