Deus Ex Mankind Divided: all the details from Game Informer

How promessovi, after yesterday's information and new images this morning, here is a summary of the information on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided posted on the pages of the latest Game Informer. The magazine told us about the history of the game, mission structure and General gameplay: Let's see what to expect from the new title Eidos Montreal's cyberpunk.

History

The game will see Adam Jensen join 29 Task Force, a cross-government team set up to fight a new kind of terrorism created by terrorists "increased"; as a result of these acts of terrorism has created a social rift between normal humans and those with cybernetic augmentations, which are now excluded from society and avoided because he considered dangerous. Jensen feels partly responsible for the situation, and decided to help the war on terrorism as a form of redemption. its purpose is to discover the identity of the Illuminati, a secret society dedicated to the improvement of the human being and to the control of the company, and put them out of the game.

However, it is not all black and white in the world of Adam Jensen: despite 29 Task Force has equipped with the most advanced weapons and cybernetic upgrades best, Adam does not trust them and secretly also joins the Group of hackers illegals Juggernaut Collective, whose purpose is to expose the Illuminati. The developers describe the members of this group as a set of conspiracy theorists to Fox Mulder: these often give Jensen of the objectives that will be in conflict with those of the Task Force, 29 and it's up to us to decide which of the two factions to support. It is not now known what will be the effects on the game and the history in supporting the one or the other faction.

As regards the question of continuity and of Human Revolution , however, Eidos has confirmed that for now there is an ending that is considered "official", and which could even end up taking different elements from each of the four finals of the previous title.

Carrying out missions

Journalists from Game Informer played one of the first missions of the game, in which Jensen was to infiltrate a sort of ghetto of Prague meant humans increased; 29 Task Force is on the trail of a terrorist organization called Augmented Rights Coalition (ARC), led by an activist named Talos Rucker. Once arrived on the spot, we discover that the ARC is trying to lend a hand to increased tightening of the agreements with the police to obtain medicines and allowed to grow food; the opening scene shows a negative situation for the rose of the ghetto, with some of them ridottisi to beg and police to stop one. In this area the police monitors drugs of which the increased need to survive, and Jensen is across a doctor who asks him to find doses of Medicine: this is a secondary mission that we can pretty much decide to accept one of the many that the characters in the game will offer us. Eidos promises that they will be assured and even interlinked with each other: for example, if at the beginning of the game we will face a group of bandits, in any subsequent mission would meet their leader that we will ask you a favor. In General, if we do a mission for someone it is very likely that later in the game we will see the repercussions of such actions.

At one point we discover that one of the team's informants was arrested, and we need to get into her apartment to retrieve the information that was in possession. Here we have several choices: we can talk to his wife and try to convince her to join, or create a diversion in order to force her to escape from the apartment leaving it open, so we can introduce. Another alternative is also to avoid the entire apartment and try other trails that lead us to our goal, the ARC. Developers explain that, depending on how we will play, we could play entire missions without talking to anyone, or even talk to everyone you meet; Similarly we can decide to carry out any mission completely in stealth fashion, or dealing with all enemies in direct combat. This will help both the variety and replay value of the title, allowing us to discuss the same situations in different ways.

GI then explains that the quest to find to find Rucker was carried out completely in a stealth: journalists have used the enhanced vision of Jensen to avoid enemies, have stunned some without killing them and introduced themselves to the place where he was present via dei condotti Rucker of ventilation: the activist then thanked them for not having killed their men, proving that even the dialogues can vary depending on our actions. This is followed a dialogue with multiple choices, and depending on how it was conducted have been possible to take into custody Rucker without opposed resistance, or could be turned by pressing a button and alarm giving life to a fight.

Power ups

The game will offer twice as many power-ups than ever before; among the novelties there is the Tesla, which will allow us to shoot electric darts from the knuckles of the hands stun up to four enemies at once after being locked. We will then enhance "brand and track", which allows us to mark enemies and follow the position, and the "Smart vision", to identify the position of enemies through walls. There is also an upgrade that will allow us to understand the mental state of our interlocutors in order to choose the best responses during multiple choice dialogues, a suit of armor that allows us to stand up to enemies, a nano-sparabile blade from the forearm, silent running and the Icarus System, that will make long horizontal shots.

Various power-ups will be activated through a screen or assignable wheel to directional cross for faster; they will consume a certain amount of energy more or less quickly, and we must wait for it to ricarichino before you can reuse.

Will return course a chance to hack electronic devices and turrets, this time even from a distance, but the hacking mini-game will be more complicated this time and contains more pitfalls. There will be special changes in system instead of stealth action, because developers believe that the Human Revolution was already very good and do not want to then ruin it with unwanted changes.

Fighting

Firstly, Eidos wanted to clarify that the bosses of the game will be made much better than those of Human Revolution and may be defeated by following different strategies, as opposed to the previous game which required (before a DLC that li "aggiustasse") only the use of force. Developers have then explained that the fighting were the weakest part of the previous title, for which they are working hard to try to improve them.

At all times we will be able to access a screen where we see our weapon and we can change fire mode, add potenzialmenti, change the type of ammunition and so on. For those who prefer the head-on collisions, then activate the shield of Jensen will take more risks and jump into the fray without fear of being killed instantly; This tactic can be also adopted by certain types of enemies, which will then be killed using other strategies. The enemies will in fact their powerups like shields, super jump, speed, etc, forcing us to adapt our tactics from time to time.

You can also interact with parts of the scenario: for example, in a part of the Mission of journalists ALREADY have been able to shoot at a wooden beam to bring down a ceiling and kill the enemies that were upstairs.
