New details on We Happy Few from PAX East

Straight from PAX East 2015 that is taking place these days in Boston, there are now new and interesting details about the particular title We Happy Few of Compulsion Games, which we already mostrat an interesting trailer in which emerged the artistic sector similar to BioShock.

Today we find out that the game will be set in Wellington Welles, a town where it is set to all inhabitants the absurd rule that taking daily " Pill of joy " to forget a past catastrophe and stay happy. In this English town of 60 people can not afford absolutely even for a moment to experience sadness or any other emotion that is not the phoney happiness: If a citizen does not prove to be actually "happy", is likely to be hunted down and killed by the "brainwashed" (donning buff guys with white masks), or those who have been brainwashed.

Of course, even if use conditions over there may seem too restrictive, the environment will be explored in order to go shopping in town, find new items, or simply explore the London scene: all this but still no suspect and no destar to increase the counter of "misery".

We must therefore be careful of how we move and how we relazioneremo with other people, in fact, show a clear excess of happiness can be a big problem for our safety as well as we should not suspect actions when viewed by other people; will not even tolerated simply crouch to move quietly, because it is considered to be a "normal" behavior.

Another interesting detail is that for which we will be able to weigh food rations, since this contains the pill of joy: If our happiness level is low, we can decide to eat it up. But take too much joy Pill will lead to dehydration, which leads to sadness. When we are dehydrated, you can simply enter in someone's home and drink their water, but we must do so without being discovered.

On the stage of development where you have the game, the authors explain that "We Happy Few is still in a stage of previous programming to pre-alpha, so in the future you might resort to third-party financial support through crowdfunding with Kickstarter.

At the moment the details end here, we will keep you informed should emerge something new.
