EA announces the arrival of an anime movie for Mass Effect

EA has announced that an anime movie of Mass Effect will be released in the summer of 2012. The film is being developed in collaboration with BioWare, TO and FUNimation Entertainment. Series producer, Casey Hudson, will be executive producer alongside the president and CEO of FUNimation, Gen Fukunaga, the director of original entertainment, Chris Moujaes, the CEO of TO Entertainment, Takeichi Honda and Yui Shibata. "Over the last few years have revealed several pieces in the world of Mass Effect through different media. Extend the story through an anime is a great opportunity for us," it said Hudson.

"The partnership with FUNimation assures us that we will bring to life this rich universe with the best quality and the same attention to detail for which are known to play Mass Effect."
