Having recently decided to discontinue some of its most popular brands such as Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk's series, now Activision, according to some, would be targeted by the acquisition of one of the largest companies involved in the videogame, the Take-Two Interactive . The distribution of home games Rockstar Games, Gearbox Software and 2K Games would gorge production company in Santa Monica so it could steal other famous and fruitful intellectual property that would be added to the series of Call of Duty and Blizzard games.

Please note that it is not the first time that Take-Two receives such an offer: Electronic Arts had already tried to acquire the company but the operation failed, even though the value offered was higher than actual. We will see in the future if these speculations will prove true or not.
