Wizards of the Coast today announced the tuque games development of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance,a new third-person action-RPG set in the world of D&D that poses as the spiritual heir to baldur's gate: dark alliance series.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is an electrifying hack-and-slash adventure, packed with action and populated by legendary monsters, memorable characters, and extraordinary treasures that combines the heart-pounding action of a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler with the progression and loot system of a role-playing game. Players will be able to opt for online and offline co-op modes for up to four players, choosing whether to impersonate the hero from the squashed scimitar Drizzt Do'Urden or one of his fellow Catti-Brie, Bruenor, and Wulfgar.
