Halo's TV series has a new director

Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk about the TV series based on the famous video game saga of Halo, starting from numerous rumors that culminated last June with the announcement, by the US network Showtime,of the acquisition of the rights to the series dedicated to the Master Chief whose production is curated by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television.

Rupert Wyatt was announced as the show's principal directorat the time of the announcement, but last December this abandoned theproject; now Showtime has announced that the series will be directed by Otto Bathurst, famous for directing several episodes of the Black Mirror series, Peaky Blinders and Robin Hood of 2018.

The change of direction has also led to a slippage in the filming of the TV series, initially scheduled for the beginning of 2019 and which will now start by the end of the year; episodes have also been reduced to nine instead of the ten originally announced.

This is currently the new information available; There is no news yet about the cast and plot of the long-awaited TV series. We invite you as always to stay tuned for all the news coming soon.
