Fable 4: Talent acquisition continues, from studios such as Rocksteady, Guerrilla and BioWare

The industry website gamesindustry.biz revealed today that Playground Games, the British studio responsible for the Forza Horizon series and recently acquired by Microsoft, is continuing with the aggressive purchase campaign of developers and artists to work on their new open world RPG which, by all accounts, will be Fable 4.

The site reveals that the British studio has recently acquired talent and veterans from studios such as BioWare, Rocksteady, Ninja Theory (also recently joined Microsoft), Guerrilla Games and EA Motive. These include animators, designers, writers and developers who have previously worked on series such as Star Wars Battlefront II, Mass Effect, Arkham Knight, DmC, Hellblade and Horizon: Zero Dawn; the purchases also include some former Lionhead employees as the head of testing for the first two Fables.

In short, the ambitions of the team seem extremely high and, if they are managing to attract all these talents, it means that the project is highly interesting and promising. We can't wait to find out more!
