Red Dead Redemption 2: disabling the mini-map NPCs will give us more indications

If you've read our test preview of Red Dead Redemption 2 or you followed the many news about the game, you'll see that with her new title Rockstar Games aims to further raise the bar on the level of detail-not only graph but especially at the level of simulation of the game world-reachable by an open-world title.

And a news released today by Twitter channel Red Dead News , dedicated to the world of RDR, tells us how the game will be full of things to see. The tweet tells us that, if we will deactivate the in-game minimap that points us to the location of our goals, the game characters will begin to provide us with detailed directions on how to reach our goals by telling us which roads to take and using landmarks as reference points.

This is not an absolute novelty in the world of gaming: the same Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, released recently, it includes a mode that sees the characters give us directions to a place rather than have it marked on the map, but we expect in Red Dead Redemption 2 all take place in a more natural and organic, with the characters that we provide guidance along the way.

Please note that missing little for the launch of the highly anticipated title western: on 26 October is coming!
