Rumor: Xbox One will introduce soon Amazon Alexa and Google support Assistant

Since Microsoft stopped betting on Kinect, the development plans of Cortana as a "personal assistant" of players on Xbox One underwent an abrupt halt; This does not mean, however, that the House of Redmond is still not willing to bet on servers based on artificial intelligence.

As reported by Windows Central , in fact, Microsoft would be working to introduce personal assistants support as Amazon's Alexa and Google Assistant , which would then be able to interact with the console and players.

For now it seems that the media will be limited to mobile application of these virtual assistants: after it has been enabled on the console, we'll download apps Alexa or Google Assistant on our phones and enable communication skills with Xbox One. Not so for now connected with hardware devices by Alexa and Google Echo, neither do we know what will be the interaction between Xbox One and these assistants.

If what is reported by Windows Central is true, it is likely that the announcement will be made during the E3, in less than a week: stay tuned to find out!
