The new update of Sea of Thieves is now available; details

As promised, following this morning's Rare server maintenance has released the new update of Sea of Thieves , which contains some feature postponed from last week. Updating, 1.0.7 to 400 MB, introduces new expectations as private crews and an increase in the value of the treasures found by pirates of a high standard.

These are the most important new features introduced with the update:

  • Private Crews -before you start a game you can now decide whether to keep it open, with the possibility to enter in matchmaking with strangers even after you have started the match and a place on your ship sheds, or close it to friends. This will also allow you to launch yourself playing on a Galleon from 4 or a sloop from 2 players, keeping vacancies for your friends when you connect.
  • Resource Exchange -now you can pass your own resources (bananas, assi, cannonballs) to other players who might need it. Might come in especially handy in battle, if a player needed bananas to restore health. UPDATE : it seems that this feature has caused some problems, then was temporarily removed.
  • Underwater Stealth -when we swim underwater, the label with our gamertag will now be hidden from view of other players. This will make us more not easily detectable when we try a stealth assault on a Galleon enemy.
  • Price changes -cosmetic accessories bilge Rat's Castaway now have fallen in price. Those who had already purchased will find the difference refunded to your pirate.
  • Rewards -now more you leveled up hunters gold companies and Order of souls and the harder it is to find treasure chests or low-level skulls, achieving on average more rewards of greater value.
