Greene thinks better of it: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will go to 30 fps on all Xbox One

Yesterday we had reported the Declaration of Brendan Greene, the creator of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds , according to which the long-awaited multiplayer game would turn to 60 fps on Xbox One x. Today the developer back though retraced his steps, with a tweet explaining that, in fact, the game will go to 30 fps on all Xbox One, X included.

These are the words of the developer: " Although I previously stated that PUBG would go to a higher FPS liftoff on Xbox Game Preview on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will turn 30 FPS on all devices Xbox One. We are constantly refining the game and exploring options to increase the FPS but so early in the development we cannot confirm more. "

What is causing this afterthought we don't know, but we can imagine it: you probably don't want to leave behind the Xbox One players by making them compete with a frame-rate halved compared to holders of X, and then to make the experience more the most powerful console will have a balanced frame-rate limited although it could get to 60 fps.

We look forward to further clarification and information on: stay tuned!
