Microsoft: Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles also will be enhanced for Xbox One X

In recent months, the head of the Xbox (and now of the entire Gaming) Microsoft Phil Spencer explained that the company was working on a top secret Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles feature, and that it would be revealed later. Well, the time has finally arrived, and we find that this is the modded Xbox One X of some titles backwards compatible.

The launch of the new console we can indeed, after downloading the appropriate update, play the enhanced versions of Halo 3 , The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion , Fallout 3 and the first Assassin's Creed . All these will be rendered natively in 4 k, reaching in fact 9 times the original resolution, but that's not all: some of these will also have the addition of HDR colors or with color depths of 10 bits instead of 8 as before.

It is of course possible that in the future other Xbox 360 titles, based on their popularity, are enhanced for the new console. Waiting to know more we leave you a video made by the editorial staff of IGN, in which compares Xbox 360 version of Halo 3 with that enhanced for Xbox One x. Obviously not being present graphical improvements of another sort, the differences are visible only when viewed in HD and consist of a cleaner image. Try it for yourself.
